Yup, that's my Josh. Still doing the same things that make me crazy! His newest trick was to unravel a whole ball ow twine throughout the house and make traps. We had to step over or duck under it in every room of the house. After we took that down he had a spool of thread and then duct tape. Is he Mcgyver? He breaks things on a regular basis, including Ian's xbox mic, our debit card, the vacuum hose, books and pens! He ALWAYS takes the pens apart and I find pieces of the everywhere. As you know Josh doesn't like clothes, yesterday I had a meeting at church. Guess it went too long for Josh because he stripped right down to his diaper, influencing other kids to want to do the same. He then ran through the church in his diaper! I am going to have to get my friend Brenda to sew me a bunch of one piece outfits with zippers IN THE BACK! He helped me vacuum yesterday, which was nice. It is too heavy for him so the vacuum wasn't touching the floor but I am glad he is wanting to do some chores. He has a new fun game for us to play. It involves me chasing him around and around the house. If I get too close he says "freeze" then runs away and hollers "go!" Everything is a weapon. He builds Lego guns, uses car track pieces as guns and yesterday at the church meeting used blocks as guns. Boys, they must be born with that innate desire to shoot at stuff. Thankfully most of the moms at the meeting have boys, so hopefully they won't judge me too harshly! He took all the batteries out of our remotes so he could have 4 flashlights, which he then hid in a box! When I handed Jeff the bent debit card and told him not to put it in his pocket lest it break, he asked "what happened?" I replied "Josh" He then said why do I even ask? Everything that is broken, wet, stained, missing, or ruined is JOSH! What a sad state of affairs. He is still super cute and the other day looked like a boy band member with his long hair. Was brushed in a way that he could have been part of One Direction, ( a boy band, you know they sing "What makes you Beautiful") I have kids so I know what is cool! Yeah right. It is raining here today and so we are hanging in the house, running around the house. Have a wonderful weekend. Blessings from my family to yours!
A look at life with Josh. You never know what he will get into. Lot's of laughs for you to enjoy. Being a parent is fun and challenging. It is a time of blessings and tears!
