Josh has been stuck inside for a while because it was in the high 90's here last week. It finally has cooled off so he is enjoying the outdoors. This includes having a squirt gun fight with me EVERY day. I never want to, but always laugh so hard and enjoy it when I do. So why do I fight it?? We took the handle off so he can't turn the water on outside, FINALLY something smart! Except he found some pliers and turned it on that way. Great, he's too smart for me. Last week we went to Kara's birthday party and Josh was in the pool. A BIG pool. HE SWIMS!!! We have tried to get him to wear a life jacket or a floatation suit and he will have none of that. He LOVES arm floaties though! WHO KNEW?! Old school really is the best except that big ratted hair, those stonewashed jeans, and any other crazy stuff from the 80's!  We went to church Sunday and I was wearing a dress with ties in the back, so Josh brought his new friend over while we were singing and untied it and proceeded to yell pony and tug on it and run all around with it in his hand. I was tipping over and this was AFTER he tried to climb under my skirt much to the amusement of the young lady and her grandpa behind me.  Today we were out and he said to the waitress "HEY tour guide!" I don't know where he gets this stuff. We are working on the "excuse me" routine, but it isn't taking as fast as I would like. He has learned something wonderful though! He continued to whip things around the living room and spilled something. So he got yelled at. A few minutes later he asked me" Mommy, do you forgive me?" Of course" I replied. He then said, "does Daddy forgive me?" Yes, he does I said. FINALLY something good is sticking. Hope you all are not too hot and having a wonderful Summer with those you love! See you soon!
